In 1990 he won the first prize of the conservatory>
andin the same year he was admitted to the
National Conservatory in Paris.
Beside the first prize for chamber music he was,
likethe other members of the quartet, awarded with the first prize of the conservatory for euphonium
and tuba.
He also is a member of the Parisian Police-
Orchestra. Together with Philippe Wendling
and Patrick Couttet he is frequently employed
at the National Opera of Paris and he regularly
makes music with the Orchestre Colonne de Paris.

It' s usually only the depth of the orchestra pit, out of which the tone
